The concept:
A complete "strip-to-core" renovation of a dated family home. The client’s vision was to create a modern, open-plan living space while significantly improving the home's energy performance and overall comfort.
technical engineering & management:
The technical heart of this project was the structural reconfiguration of the ground floor. To create a vast, open-plan kitchen and living area, we removed several load-bearing walls. We calculated and installed a complex system of steel columns and beams to ensure structural integrity while achieving a completely open feel.
In addition to the structural work, we managed a full technical overhaul:

Infrastructure: Complete replacement of the electrical and plumbing systems.

Aesthetics: High-end plasterwork and interior finishing throughout the entire house.

Energy Performance: Through high-quality insulation and system upgrades, we improved the Energy Label from C to A, significantly increasing the property's value and sustainability.
